Emerald Hills begins with a friendly Par 5. A slight dogleg right, #1 allows any caliber player a way to warm-up your round with a Driver off the tee. Perhaps the biggest challenge hole #1 provides are the sand bunkers loosely guarding the green on both sides. The trees lining both sides of the fairway prepare you for 18 holes of timber. #1 is a teaser for the rest of the round as it is fairly flat, tilting only slightly from back to front and left to right.
